2016 Season Race 32 – Talladega, Race Update 23Oct2016

Okay not a fun Talladega with Joe Gibbs Teams riding around in the back all day but their strategy worked, just a boring race. That didn’t stop Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski from hanging it out there for the win. If Brad’s motor had of stayed together I don’t think anyone could have beat him.

Toyota 2, Chevy 3, Ford 1 in the Chase.

In the pool we have Slant, CW RMT, Flat Tire, Irv-1 and Three Amigos

Rounding out the top 10 we have Hay Wire, J &J Racing, Deadman N, Mitchman, and Whiskey Matters.

Most points for the week goes to Ford Racing 19 with 3004.

Biggest gain for this week goes to JT Racing up 45 spots.

Biggest slide for this week goes to Pedal to the Metal down 47 spots.

Well you have to admit it. When Kevin Harvick needs a win in the Chase to move onto the next round he does it. Kevin gets the win in Kansas to secure his spot in the final 8. He didn’t dominate all day like Matt Kenseth did, but he got the lead when he needed to after the last caution.

Toyota 2, Chevy 3 in the Chase.

In the pool we have Three Amigos, Deadman N, Whiskey Matters,  Mitchman, and Dog Days.

Rounding out the top 10 we have Spare Parts, Slant, CW RMT, Irv-1, and Dutch.

Most points for the week goes to Toad with 271.

Biggest gain for this week goes to Speakers, 66 Beau, Lethbridge Speedway, Circle M Racing 2 all up 2 positions.

If anyone dismissed Jimmie Johnson having a shot at this championship, better think twice. Their consistency hasn’t been there this year but getting the win on Sunday at Lowe’s Motor Speedway gives him a spot in the final 8.

Toyota 2, Chevy 2 in the Chase.

In the pool we have Three Amigos, Deadman N, Whiskey Matters,  Mitchman, and Dog Days.

Rounding out the top 10 we have Spare Parts, Slant, CW RMT, Irv-1, and Dutch.

Most points for the week goes to J & J Racing with 281.

Biggest gain for this week goes to Zig-Zag Racing up 2 positions.

Biggest slide for this week goes to Flip Flop down 4 spots.
