Say hello to your 7-time Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson. I am not sure many people thought with the day Jimmie was having that he would come out on top. Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch and Joey Logano all ran better than Jimmie all day but it was Jimmie that had luck and killed the last restart to get the win in Homestead.
So yes luck had a lot to do with it yesterday but Jimmie has been dominated his whole career and seems to have this Chase thing figured out. Having Chad Knaus as his crew chief, and Ron Melac as car chief makes for an incredible team.
Toyota 3, Chevy 5, Ford 2 wins in the Chase.
In the pool we have Three Amigos, Deadman N, Dog Days, Whiskey Matters, and Mitchman.
Rounding out the top 10 we have Slant, Flat Tire, Irv-1, Big Buzz, and the Bandit.
Finishing in 11th-20th we have Kim-Way, Dutch, Bon’s Picks, CW RMT, Smokin Joe, HOLA AMIGO, Yolo, Warning Watts, Troy Cameron, and Mac.
Most points for the week goes to J & J Racing with 293.
