Matt Kenseth back to the winner’s circle in MichiganMichigan-Aug2015

Never got to see the race so not sure if the higher drag package made for better racing there or not.  What I do know is whatever they have done to the Toyotas in the last two months has gave them the edge.  Six out of the last eight races have been won in a Toyota!

In the pool we have Momia-Mia, Suezie 13, Bumper-Bumper,, Fergie One, and Lethbridge Racing.

Rounding out the top 10 we have  Go-Attack-Go, Flip Flop, S-M-C, Forget-Me-Not, and Team Midnite #1 .

Kyle Busch again?  Yep 3 straight win, he has won 4 out of the last 5 races!Indy-Kylebusch2015

Again Kyle never dominated the race but had the track position and one of the best cars when it mattered at the end. What was all the talk about the Chevy dominance? Toyota’s everywhere in the top 10, looks like there is no longer a gap for at least the Toyota’s and the Fords are looking better as well.

The new rules package there never made a difference in my eyes but at least Nascar tried to make it for better racing.

In the pool we have Fergie One, Lethbridge Racing, Bumper-Bumper, Momia-Mia and Suezie.

Rounding out the top 10 we have  Flip Flop, Chick Hicks, Team Midnite #1, Go-Attack-Go, and S-M-C.

Biggest slide for the week goes to Troy Cameron, #2 Racing and SNOWFLAKE all down 10 spots.

NASCAR New Hampshire Auto Racing-1

Kyle Busch wins again in New Hampshire, 3 out of the last 4 races.

Well talk about a huge come back for Kyle and team. They never dominated the race but had a great car and good luck when it counted to get the win in New Hampshire. Now all Kyle needs to do is make the top 30 which looks very doable the way this team is running week to week.

In the pool we have Fergie One, Lethbridge Racing, Bumper-Bumper, Suezie 13 and Flip Flop.

Rounding out the top 10 we have Three Amigos. Flip Flop, Chick Hicks, Go-Attack-Go, Team Midnite #1, and S-M-C.

Most points for the week goes to Dozer with 309.

Kyle Busch wins with the new aero package at Kentucky.

Never got to see the race but most accounts people say it was better racing at Kentucky then it has been there in the past.

For Kyle Busch that is two wins in the last 3 races, 2-3 since he returned from his opening race in Daytona back in February.

In the pool we have Fergie One, Lethbridge Racing, Bumper-Bumper, Chick Hicks, and Three Amigos.

Rounding out the top 10 we have Flip Flop, Momia-Mia, Suezie 13, Go-Attack-Go, and Team Midnite #1.

Dale Jr wins a wild one at Daytona.

Dale Jr got the win early Monday morning but that wasn’t the buzz in Daytona. The crash at the finish line that put Austin Dillon into the catch fence was horrifying to say the least. The current plate races are a joke in my opinion, not even close to be entertaining if you are a race fan.  Jeff Gordon’s comment about it being more like a video game than an actual race sums it up in my opinion.

In the pool we have Lethbridge Racing, Fergie One, Bumper-Bumper, Chick Hicks, and Three Amigos.

Rounding out the top 10 we have Flip Flop, Unlucky Dog, Suezie 13, Momia-Mia, and Go-Attack-Go.

Most points for the week goes to CW RMT with 318.

Biggest slide for the week goes to Sparky 2 down 17 spots.

Kyle Busch back to the winner’s circle.

Sonoma2015Well awesome finish to the race on Sunday. Fresh tires should sure did make a big difference for the final 7 laps of the race.  It was finally nice to see the cars being able to competitively race each other without the aero push. I know most people hate the road course races but I think there should be a road course in the chase. Road courses provide lots of action, lots of different strategies, lots of opportunities for different teams to win.

Obviously Nascar recognizes the current rules package is not ideal, not much side by side racing on the 1.5-2.0 mile tracks with the current configuration. The rules package change at Kentucky hopefully helps some of this aero push that happens when cars try to pass each other. I think the new rules package will continue to help drivers that like a loose race car like Kyle/Kurt Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick.  If you like a tight race car you are probably not going to like it so much, but we will see how it all turns out.

In the pool we have Fergie One, Lethbridge Racing, Bumper-Bumper, Chick Hicks, and Three Amigos.

Rounding out the top 10 we have Momia-Mia, Suezie 13, Flip Flop, Team Midnite #1, and Go-Attack-Go.

Biggest gain for the week goes to Kim-WAY up 16 spots.

Biggest slide for the week goes to Cheech down 15 spots.

Pocono2015Could you please sent Martin Truex Jr to the Winner’s Circle.

You have to love an underfunded team pulling off the win.  For Martin it was his 3rd consecutive week that he lead the most laps and this time he finally did get the win.  Awesome Martin, keep that car at the front and start knocking down a few more wins!

The Jeff Gordon and crew chief Allan Gustuson radio communication near the end of the race goes to show they are both frustration with their lack of performance.  Then hearing Chad Knaus tell Jimmie “Why would you ever want to do what it is that I want you to do?” goes to show even if you are already having success this year doesn’t mean you are getting along.  The desire to win each and every race is there for a large group of drivers, not winning is failure to a lot of them.  Kevin Harvick is a prime example, consistently finishes 2nd if he doesn’t win and there is little to be excited about. There are so many drivers who would just love to finish on the lead lap or at least be competitive.  There are so many of them that just seem to be riding around filling in the gaps between the dominant teams.

In the pool we have Fergie One, Lethbridge Racing, Chick Hicks, Bumper-Bumper, and Team Midnite #1.

Rounding out the top 10 we have Momia-Mia, Suezie 13, Three Amigos, smokinjoe00, and Go-Attack-Go.

Most points for the week goes to Fergie One with 323.
