Jeff Gordon gets his 3rd win of the season with a win in Michigan on Sunday. 

Crying Ryan (Newman) didn’t like the tight racing there was between him and Jimmie Johnson.  I guess since Jimmie is in the chase he thought Jimmie raced him pretty hard for 10th.  Maybe so but does Ryan ever just pull over for anyone?  Ryan Newman and Juan Pablo Montoya are pretty much the same in that respect, but who doesn’t love battles on the track?  Good to see Ryan racing hard, bad to see him upset because he was raced the way he races everyone else.

It is sad to see the way the media has painted Tony Stewart, very ignorant people reporting news that is so unfactual.  Sure there was a tragedy here but if you can’t report facts don’t report at all.  Trust me Tony Stewart will never be the same because of this.  I can’t imagine how he is feeling hearing people say it was intentional.

AJ Allemdinger gets his first Sprint Cup win holding off Marcos Ambrose at Watkins Glen International. 

Was a sad day yesterday to say the least. Fan or no fan of Tony Stewart, I know for sure Tony never meant to run over Kevin Ward Jr.  Condolences go out to Kevin Ward Jr.’s family, friends and Tony Stewart after the tragedy on Saturday night at Canadaigua Raceway.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. gets the job done in Pocono for his 2nd win there and 3rd overall win this year. 

Not sure I have seen a happier crowd with Jr. getting the win.  I remember a win for Jr. at Michigan a few years back getting the crowd that fire up, regardless he sure does have a following.

Jeff Gordon gets his 2nd win of the season and his 5th at Indianapolis. 

Not sure if anyone saw it or not but Jeff’s boy would not kiss the bricks but his daughter did.  Not sure I blame the kid, better tastings things than that to kiss out there.

All the first picks have been received and entered, good luck to all for the rest of the season.

Off to Pocono again this weekend, not sure they deserve 2 races a year.

Bad Brad back in the winner’s circle, 3rd win of the season. 

Interesting Brad is still complaining about their engines not being as good as the Hendrick power plants.  According to Brad they are a full season behind.  So does that mean if his car had a Hendrick motor he might have won a lot more races?  Be happy Brad, they give you a great car most of the time, two dominating victories as of late so to speak of.

Aric Almirola to Victory Lane for Sunday’s Daytona 400. 

Well it was the weekend of disappointment for most.  Rained out Saturday night, rained out again on Sunday. Two big wrecks took out about half the field but when it was all said and done and they called the race Aric Almirola was the driver leading and thus securing his first Sprint Cup win.

Carl Edwards winning on a Road Course? 

Yep if you can beat guys like Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, and Kyle/Kurt Busch on a road course you have to be proud.

Off to Kentucky this week, night race on Saturday.

Okay I guess Jimmie Johnson is back, did he ever leave?  Jimmie wins his 3rd race in the last 4 races.  Jimmie gets his first win at Michigan.

Up until Sunday Jimmie was never able to get the win in Michigan but he has been close many times. .  Chad’s pit strategy at the end had the field covered whether a caution came out or not I think.

Off to the road course in Sonoma, should be good for some good old boys have at it racing.

Well Dale Jr. is having his best year to date, gets his second win of the season in Pocono. 

Brad Keselowski  had the best car but with trash on his grill he had to try to get it off late in the race and Dale Jr. got by him.  I honestly thought Tony Stewart had the best car at the end but the pit road speeding penalty killed his day.

Another sleeper race coming up in Michigan.  Well at least that has been the past for racing there, lets hope for a miracle.

Well I think we all knew it would only be a race or two before Jimmie Johnson would get a win in 2014.  Jimmie had a whole 11 race drought, yes a long winless streak for them actually. 

I think if Matt Kenseth continues to block the way he has been he is going to get to spun out for sure. Happy Harvick isn’t so Happy, complaining about the pit crew isn’t going to motivate anyone.  Too bad the crew doesn’t get to air their voices on TV media when Kevin makes mistakes in the race.

Rusty-Cup takes over first place, followed by Glasses, Slant, Hot Chili Heat and SmokinJoe00.

Rounding out the top 10 we have Scott Morrow, Broken Dreams, Sue Byers, Rear Gunner and Best of the Best.
